realism is absolutely fine. but if you don’t like it, and you really cannot come to appreciate your skill, i suggest you experiment.
look at art that you enjoy, don’t copy it, but apply what makes it so different to your art. try different mediums.
i think the most important thing when developing a style is to draw as if nobody but you will see it. it is most important to draw for yourself, and to not focus on how presentable it is.
